Uptown Commons Gets Four New Corner Restaurants

Uptown Commons Gets Four New Corner Restaurants

AUG. 17 – Four additional restaurants will join Wendy’s and Starbucks in Long Beach at the new Uptown Commons development. Mainchick Hot Chicken and Oi Asian Fusion will be accompanied by Portside Fish Co. and Shomi Noods, all built by Pinhero Construction.

The north Long Beach project, powered by Frontier Real Estate Investments is geared up for a full opening within the coming months.

The commercial general contractor collaborated with Bickel Group Architecture to bring the empty two-acre lot to life. Located on 6600 Atlantic Ave., the corner restaurants will deliver a culmination of cultural influences to the area.

To add to this unique experience, the fast casual dining spots were built inside rectangular-shaped containers. Each venue features a different interior, consisting of variations of hand-picked wood and bricks. The painted seating of the spacious outdoor area compliments the dark metals and atriums lining the patio.

With the completion of Mainchick Hot Chicken and Oi Asian Fusion under their belt, Pinhero will conclude construction on Portside Fish Co. and Shomi Noods in the coming months.
